Storing an AP

Hi,
I am inquiring about storage practices for an AP using compressed air. I usually shoot every day, missing a day or two a week. Should I leave the cylinder attached or not? The pistol in question is a Pardini K2 short (an awesome AP with my favorite AP trigger). The odd detail is that the Pardini holds a single air charge even after the cylinder is removed. Should I remove the cylinder and discharge this last shot with the gun empty, or what?
Thanks
