Junior Pants

Post by TWP »

I'm looking for some input on Junior Shooting Pants.

I have a 12 year old daughter who is using a mix of club and her own equipment. The club doesn't have any pants that fit her so I was going to purchase some.

I've been surfing the web and been to Neal Johnsons, Champions Choice, Champions Shooters Supply, and Monards. All of them have lower priced canvas pants in the $110-$140 range.

Is there much difference among them?

I don't want to buy her the top of the line gear yet because she is still growing like a weed. I can't imagine the pants laster her much more than a year before she outgrows them and we donate them to the club.

I am in the same boat. I got the Monard jr. pants for my daughter. They seem great to me.

Thanks,

I just took her measurements and she's to big for the "Junior" pants. I had another coach recomend Monards as well.

If the jr. pants won't fit then go for the starter pants. The starter is pretty much the same design, good deal, but bigger sizes available.

I just found her a barely used set of Kurt Thune pants that fit very well. Picked them up quick!
