I am wondering what is the height of the 10m air pistol target, from the center of the 10 ring to the ground. Is there also a lighting standard on the target surface? Any comment will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You will find in this PDF the ISSF rules for targets and shooting ranges for all shooting disciplines.

The height from ground to the center of the 10m target is 1.40 meter. The same height is also valid for the 25m targets.

Hi Colin,
It was a pleasure meeting you and your son last Friday.
To anwser your question. The proper height for the 10 meter target is, as Dave indicated is 1.4 meters or approximately 55 inches.
As always, keep'em all in the 10 ring,
Ian
