COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--USA Shooting is proud to announce Shooting USA television show as the official television sponsor of USA Shooting. As a sponsor, Shooting USA will feature a series of profiles of the individual USA Shooting team athletes in regular appearances in the show series. In addition, full-length shows from the series will be devoted to covering the USA Shooting Team in competition and at the Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
“USA Shooting has never had a television sponsor before,” Leaha Wirth, Director of Marketing for USA Shooting, said. “Considering Jim Scoutten’s outstanding reputation in the firearms industry, we are excited to finally have not only an American television show step up to the plate to support the team, but, in particular, his show.
“Shooting USA couldn’t be a better platform to officially support and broadcast the stories of America’s young shooting heroes,” Leaha added. “Everyone at USA Shooting appreciates Jim Scoutten for recognizing the value of these young Americans and telling the stories of their shooting victories and sacrifices.”
Jim Scoutten has reported on shooting sports and the firearms industry for more than 10 years as the producer and host of some of the highest rated outdoor shows to appear on major cable networks, including ESPN, TNN and the Outdoor Life Network (OLN). Shooting USA is the newest show series that will appear on OLN in May and will continue year-round as Outdoor Life Network makes a major commitment to coverage of the shooting sports. Scoutten said he looks forward to producing the USA Shooting Team television coverage in which he terms, “the most under-reported story in the world of shooting.”
"The U.S. Shooting Team represents all of us who enjoy sport shooting,” Scoutten said. “In world class competition, the team is our National honor and our pride. They are the best of the best, but nobody knows who they are. And hardly anybody knows our athletes depend on our support for the resources they need to compete for medals. I'm looking forward to presenting the stories of the team to our viewers and I expect our audience will respond with support for USA Shooting in World competition. I’ve asked our fans to write a check before for worthwhile causes and they have. I have no doubt they’ll be willing to help support our National team."
Shooting USA is a production of Tier One Media, LLC of Franklin, TN producing television shows in association with OLN, the Outdoor Life Network. www.OLNTV.com Shooting USA will be available in more than 55-million households in the US via cable and satellite distribution. www.ShootingUSA.com
