Toz 35 Firing Pin Spring Length

Post by Swoffer »

Does anyone know the length of the firing pin spring in the Toz 35 when new? I have had a couple of light strikes so I have dissembled the firing spring assembly and cleaned everything. I measured the spring and it is 26mm but I dont know the correct length. Just wondering if has compressed a bit and I need to try and source a new one from who knows where???

A good replacement spring for a Tos 35 firing pin spring is a S&W M14 rebound spring either 14 or 15 lb.

The firing pin from any pardini free pistol will fit.

The spare (unused) firing pin spring that came with my Toz 35m is 27.5mm long.

Thanks Oldnslow, that's exactly what I needed to know. Mine has shrunk then, the pistol was probably stored with the spring under pressure by a previous owner.

Yeah but.....I have both used and sold these. The TOZ is kind of a sloppy build, so the necessary spring length can vary.

Sometimes I use a cut-off on my Dremel to shorten a spring about a coil. Actually, I'm getting ready to put one in my
TOZ right now. The old one lasted about 10 years before the misfires started.

I recommend this one if you have a source for Pardini spare parts.
Pardini K22 or K50 firing pin spring is a direct fit. No need for dremelling.

The firing pin or just the spring?
