Pellets for a newbie

Post by Mk4Zero »

Hi guys!

I’ve read Rovers post, https://targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=52250 , about what pellets are okay to buy but he never mentioned these:

AHG Pellets that 500 for $3

https://oberleenterprises.com/product/a ... -49-24842/

This fits the bill for recommended p85 ammo and I imagine it’ll shoot in a p8x

It also sounds too good

FYI
Recommended p85 ammo per manual

4.49-4.50mm
0.5-0.53g
Diabolo

Should I purchase these tins to learn from or pay more for some basic that has these specs?

Thanks

Mark

The $3 price is for the test pack the 500 pellet tin is over $15.

Call Neal Stepp at International Shooters Service, and order 500 pellet tins of RWS Basics. They are about $5 a tin, and shoot extremely well. The college team I help coach has used them for over a decade in a wide range of pistols.

This is good advice. The RWS Basics shoot very well for beginners. In matches you can shoot Meisters if you think it’s necessary.
