Flying with Air Cylinder (Canadian airports)

Hi All,
I know various airlines in the US and TSA itself state that the air cylinder must be empty by visual inspection, but in practice, I can fly from most US airports with my air gun without anyone asking me to do the impossible task of opening the air cylinder.
Now I'm thinking to take part in some competitions in Canada. Has anyone flown out of a Canadian airport with their air cylinder? Did CBSA or airline staff ask to unseal it and look inside? Wonder if I should just mail it back home to be safe. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
