TOZ35 Rear Sight - Worn Out?

The windage and elevation adjustments on my TOZ 35 are not as solid as they used to be. Sometimes it is hard to feel the clicks or they skip.

Any remedies?

TIA,

Ted

Pink Loctite - might work, might not.

Very small application of the low-strength Pink loctite, maybe use the blue, not NOT the red or black loctite.

The pins on the inside of the rear sight that "click" are probably worn down. My TOZs have the same issue and the adjustments roll more than click. I tried to find some replacement pins but haven't had any luck.

I would be more inclined to think the issue is not the detent plunger but rather the spring that acts upon them. Toz springs are notoriously bad.The other possible issue is corrosion that is keeping the detent from providing tension on the knob .

I wonder if the spring from a watch strap bar would do it,they're tiny and cheap. You would only need one for both detents.
Don't forget to put it in a plastic bag when you disassemble it.

A replacement spring sounds like a good solution. I'll get some measurements and see if I can find a suitable replacement. Thanks everyone for the advice. If anyone has already found a suitable replacement for the spring or the tips, let me know!
