That depends on whether you wobble in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction.....

Buy it or you're screwed!

Just kidding, it's actually to offset the Coriolis forces if you live South of the equator.

Looks like it was a "proof of concept" to show that only the end of the barrel and the crown were important to accuracy...

I'd love to have one, but I suspect it will sell for big bucks. If I could still shoot well, it would be fun to compete with. Now, I suppose I could use it as an excuse...

Back in the 80's FWB made this technological feat to prove that their airguns are pinpoint accurate, even with a twisted barrel. Supposedly, only 2 or 3 prototypes were made, none for commercial sale. Certainly a good investment that will increase in value over time.

It is to show that a straight bbl. is not important. This handgun put them all into the same hole. It's an old photo.

The twist of the barrel is faster than the rifling. So centripetal force results in the pellet being out of round ...

No doubt they calculated it for 10M as to minimize the points most likely lost.

Coriolis not likely a big issue ... but maybe 'Cornholio' ...
