FAS S.P. 607 or 602 magazine refurbishing for fitting a 6-shot follower

Here is how I refurbished the FAS magazine for fitting a 6-shot follower.
The jig and the carpenter's vice helped enormously, as I would not be able to take the mag apart and put it together without them. The jig was made using nails and a screw as well as .22 LR empties that allowed the magazine to roll in-and-out a secure position between them without damage, or risking being scratched.
A small sharp screwdriver, a short sharp knife, pliers and a polymer-tipped hammer are also handy for the job.
In fact it is a lot easier than it appears, as the spring holder at the bottom is released calmly when the lips are parted a bit. The hammer can be used instead of the pliers for returning the lips to their original angle.
Pics below.
Many thanks for your help.
