The Plattsburgh Rod and Gun Club will host the 3rd Annual N.E. Junior 3-P Air Rifle Championships. The event will be held on December 2nd. This is a 30 shot 3-P Air Rifle Match. No entry fee is charged; however, pre-registration is mandatory. Typically, 40-50 juniors have participated each year, forty-four are already registered. This is both an individual and (4 person) team match.
Six teams competed last year. The team Champion was the Northfield Vermont Junior Rifle Club 1085 followed by Northeastern Clinton Central School. District 1079. Individual Champion was Holly Visconti from Champlain, 2nd Place was Taylor Baroffio and Abbi Demas of Northfield.

The club is the home of the Plattsburgh State University Rifle Team, Plattsburgh Rough Riders adult and junior shooting teams and the Beekmantown High School Rifle Team.
