Hello everyone,
I'd like to know if any of you train in the prone position with a 10 m rifle.
I'm considering this possibility with a sling, when it's very cold to go shooting at 50 m, or in the evening when I get home from work. I can shoot in my basement.
Thank you for your invaluable help.
All the best.
Nicolas.

Do it all the time! Of course the rifles fit and function are somewhat different, but hammering the fundamentals is always time well spent.
If using a different rifle is a concern, a SCATT MX-W2 is worth every penny. Train at 15 feet from the device with confidence.
Enjoy!

Nicolas,
In the US we have lots of juniors shooting 3P air rifle.
Note that the scores will be quite a bit higher since the target is easier and you will be indoors.
Usually the rifle & ammo combination is more accurate and there is almost no recoil either.

Hello,
thank you both for this very useful information.
So I think I'm going to give it a serious go with the 50 m, even though I know there are some notable differences. It'll be good for the groundwork.
Best regards and happy shooting.

I do it regularly also. It's gratifying when you make a one hole "group" with 5 shots.
