I’m looking for information on lighting for covered/indoor ranges. Anyone know of some guidance, maybe something like so many lumens recommended a certain distance from the firing line/targets?
Thanks!

The best resource on this is found in the ISSF General Technical Rules, section 6.4.14.

www.issf-sports.org/getfile.aspx?mod=do ... 0Rules.pdf
In short, the required minimum lighting level for the general range area/firing line is 500 Lux, the recommended overall lighting is 1500 Lux.
The required minimum for light on the target is 1500 lux. The recommended light level on the targets is:
For 10 meter >1800 Lux
For 50 Meter, >3000 Lux
The color temperature of the light is not specified but should approximate sunlight on a clear day.
