It is interesting that the number of obviously spam posts has decreased dramatically from the situation a few years back. Four or five years ago David and I were deleting several threads each day.

As fellow ISSF Judges, David and I shared an interest in the mathematics involved in EST (among other things) and often conversed by e-mail. He is missed.

Math? The power bill during lock-down at the New Hampshire Comfort Home for Asocial Socialists was extremely high this month.

Harkening to my training proposal to utilize Shock Collars on air pistol competitors during the Olympic Trials:
Land a 9: slight tingle (15 volts), reminding competitors that to compete internationally, a 10 is REQUIRED!
Land an 8: reinforcement (60 volts), you can't shoot 8's
Land a 7: punishment (120 volts), you're NOT making the Finals; consider yourself expendable
Out of the black: elimination (350 volts), you won't complete the match (embarrassing us internationally)
Shoot a FOUR (like I did last day at Benning): (capacitor meltdown), crawl out of the venue in total humiliation, you're not worth the electric bill!

What a relief. I had become concerned my not-so-secret admirer had gone away to lurk elsewhere, perhaps - perish the thought - be-troll somebody else.
