For those that are using a metric caliber pistol on the firing fine, is the consensuses heavy and slow or light and fast?
I got talked into shooting a bullseye league, I am a mediocre rifle shooter and a horrible pistol shooter. I have many (many) pistols and chose the one with the crispest rear sight, a S&W 986 custom shop revolver with a 1:18.75 twist, 5" barrel and a decent trigger.
I am shooting through a case of bulk Remington 115 grain and when I buy more I'd like to get something better for the situation. I know I will get the " what ever shoots the best in you pistol", but I thought I would ask.
Unfortunately I don't have time for load development and I don't think Rover will do the testing for me like he does with pellets.
