Walther LP300 issue

I'm fairly new to this pistol, but have been shooting it for several weeks. I usually push the button to dry fire mode and dry fire a couple of shots before loading and shooting. Tonight after several dry fired shots I inserted the pellet and switched the button back to live fire, and it would only "click" like it did in dry fire mode. I switched the button back and forth several times, but to no avail, and couldn't get it to shoot.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I have encountered this a few times over the years with my LP300. Adjusting the sear engagement has always done the trick.

1/ Make sure the pistol is unloaded.
2/Take the grip off.
3/Fit a full tank and screw it on fully.
4/Cock the pistol and chech the bolt in the full back cocked position.

If pistol will not cock, adjust sear engagement.
5/Select dry fire and check fired safe position. (rightside of midpoint in slot)

6/Now cock again, select fire and check fired position on bolt.
It should be full forward and fire air. (leftside of midpoint in slot)

7/ If it does not fire and move to this forward position, then something is wrong with the dryfire crossbolt
and it will need to be removed and checked.
8/ If it has moved to the forward position then there is a problem in regulator supply
or poppet valve and will need a overhaul.

Thank you kindly for this detail. I think I've got if working fine again!
