Does anyone know the cost of an Electronic Target System
Does anyone know the cost of an Electronic Target System?
Mainly for Air Gun. Where I can use a laptop instead of the
Monitor you see at most ranges.
I cannot find any links or info online, for prices.

Re: Does anyone know the cost of an Electronic Target System
I'd like to know of some options and prices myself.
A while ago I did fill in a request at IndiaMart. Had a seller quote me 3357$US for a SIUS HS10 or 5857$US for an LS10.

I know that Megalink offers a S/W product that runs on a PC called MLShoot.
I use it for target diagnostic purposes but it runs a single target just fine.

The Suis should be under $2,000 to be used with a laptop. The $3,400 must include the 3p stand. We have two H10s hanging on two screws manually adjusted for each position.

Sport Quantum target is €2160 plus taxes. The software on the tablet has changed since I reviewed their target: https://www.olympicpistol.com/sport-qua ... et-review/

I think the cheapest one is Inband target. It is 900 euros. Very good and reliable, works with PC and the software has benchrest ammunition testing program, too.

the inband target is an acoustic one?
Re: Does anyone know the cost of an Electronic Target System
Yes, Inband Air uses acoustic measurement to determine shot location. These targets have been available for only about two years but already very popular in Finland.

Hey, This is Jeff from SIUS USA. Our HS10 with SIUSLANE sells for around $2K. We would love to provide a quote. Send an email to usa@sius.com. We offer discounts to Vets and/or Law Enforcement.

Our club has 8 SIUS units and we are quite happy with them. I just looked a the Finnish system and it looks pretty sturdy; sells for around $ 1K. Intriguing!

Re: Does anyone know the cost of an Electronic Target System
i saw that the SIUS brochures mention "no parallax errors". how could such errors occur in other electronic target systems?

Re: Does anyone know the cost of an Electronic Target System
This happens when the shot measurement is not done on the same plane as the target itself.
I believe that early Meyton air targets, for example, had the pellet sensing light matrix positioned in front of the target.

Might want to check the new Athena. From CMP Shooting News July 7, 2020:
"Introducing Athena: The World's First Affordable Electronic Scoring Target - The future of competitive shooting is with ESTs. This is clear. Up until today, though, the ESTs on the market have had one undeniable flaw - they are far too expensive for local clubs, schools, and junior rifle programs. Athena is a game-changer for the shooting sports. For the first time, entry- and intermediate-level athletes will be able to enjoy the benefits of immediate scoring and spectator appeal made possible by an affordable EST. - Erik Anderson Ph.D., Chief Architect. Click here to read more and view a video on the new Athena target system." http://www.orionscoringsystem.com/orion/Home.aspx
