Need an MLS type service for Firearms

Post by SlartyBartFast »

Well, the more I get involved in trying to look for various related to firearms the more I find lots of well meaning efforts to list used firearms (especially here in Canada) or competitions, or register, or...

And many of them overrun with tiny banner ads, all trying to get by it seems on a tiny slice of ad revenue with a limited market.

So I keep thinking: COOPERATE!

With firearms sales, a standard database could make it possible for small stores and local sellers to reach wider and larger markets.

The real estate industry figured this out and created the MLS. The same advantages could IMO be applied to the used firearms websites. everyone benefits from a larger inventory, larger marketplace, an ways could be worked out to share a larger pool of advertising revenue. A percentage of one big pie could be larger than all of a tiny pie.
