these babies have quite small orifices in them which i ASSUME acts as a restriction valve to protect the air cylinders...
ive got a chance to get a valve that's restricted to slow-fill. according to the specifications it should fill in about 10 seconds...
will adding this restrictor valve to the adapter be much of a hindrance to filling the cylinder? im an electrician and really dont know a LOT about pneumatics...
thanks

Guns with removable cylinders, which is most precision guns like those you mention, should fill OK with a slow fill restriction and 10 seconds sounds about right.
I dont see any reason to choose or add such a restrictor to a normal DIN setup except maybe for unsupervised Junior use. However 300bar cylinders usually have valves with smaller restriction.
Some sporter/hunter PCP guns with fixed cylinder like AirArms S400 may not take air well when completely empty as a quick burst of air can help close the firing pot valve.
