SCAM - Watch out!!!

Hi

How can you use the buy/sell thread SAFELY if you cannot meet the person you are doing business with personally? You send payments (or items) just to anyone without guarantee?

I ask because I almost did an transaction but decided to double check this email I got sent. Turns out its a scam. Email is here below. Just wanted to warn you guys/girls so you wont step into any crap and loose money.

FWIW, when we bought my air rifle off the buy/sell/trade gate it was shipped before he even received his payment. Also bought a LP10 without trouble.

Never hurts to research the seller if possible.

If you're buying/selling/trading in the forum, check how many posts the member has. Low post numbers usually indicate a new member or a scammer. It would also be wise to ask the person to send you some positive feedback, also tell him/her to send pics of the article alongside with an up to date newspaper.

Maybe you are all aware, I just wanted to point this out for all fellow shooters.
