Jack Best hardball 1911
Where can I find the approximate value of my Springfield .45 Ball gun built by Jack Best in 1991. Not much use as a ball gun. Shot it some as a wad gun.

Depends on condition, and how motivated you are to sell.
Around $1,000, give or take a few hundred, I would guess. There are a lot of factors at play. I wouldn't expect to get more just because it's one of Jackie's guns.

Ive owned two of his guns, they were good shooters but he built them with mostly stock parts, mine were colts and I sold them if I remember right for around 900.00 and they had scope rails, id say being a springfield and if it has open sights, maybe 700.00 or so is fair market

Fewer people are looking for hardball guns after the CMP changed the rules this year, so the prices have taken a small hit . A well built gun is still a well built gun though.

Does it have an aftermarket barrel? Kart or Bar-sto. Jackie welded a lot of stock barrels and fit them. An aftermarket barrel would add value in my eyes. SA barrels were two piece and some people do not like them. Not sure of the market after the CMP changes this year. My guess $700 to a high of $1000.
