Grip question for .22 pistol events.

Post by ghillieman »

I have a Nygord grip on my Pardini SP, the one that the heel of the grip comes up and around the hand. My question is, is this grip allowed in .22 pistol events as long as it fits in the control box?

If so, what are the control box dimensions.

Thanks.

No wraparound grips allowed. In International pistol not even an upward slope of the palm shelf is allowed. The width of the grip must not exceed 50 mm.

You can use it for NRA pistol events.

Seeing as how the OP asked about a "control box", which doesn't exist for NRA bullseye, I assume he was asking about International events. In which case Shaky Hands had the right answer.

The top of the wraparound part must not raise more than 1" from the lowest point.
