Yes you do. Indian Restaurants (sometimes called Curry Houses but never Curry Shops) sell fizzy lager which is served chilled. It's proper beer (bitter/pale/ale/mild etc) that should be served unchilled from a cool cellar either by a hand pump or straight from the barrel. Since most pubs nowadays chill their cellars for lager, real ale (traditional beer) is served colder than it was 50 years ago.

Hotter than a vindaloo? Sir should try the Phal.
