Is there anyone out there who has had an airgun CO2 or CA cylinder re-certified?
If so, under which Standard was the cylinder re-certified?

Here in AUS the Australian Standards do not cover pressure vessels that small.

Spencer,

It is the same in the UK, no standard for small cylinders. Some time ago I was describing the fixed life discard policy with the owner of the company where I get our club cylinders filled. His view, based on considerable knowledge and experience, was that it was unnecessary and only served to benefit the equipment manufacturers. He offered to test an air pistol cylinder to the same standards as a diving cylinder and certify that it had been done. I did not take him up on his offer because I frankly don't have the time to go on a crusade. However I did find his argument persuasive that to disqualify a tested cylinder it would be necessary to fall back on the position that "Rules is Rules".

Boy, that's a shocker! (I can't find the sarcasm font.)
