Pardini K-12 dry fire question

My new K-12 arrives early next week, however, my scuba tank won't be here for another 10 days. In the meantime I can get the grip adjusted and hopefully the trigger.

Can I safely dry fire a K-12 without any air pressuring the system? I understand the SS lever has to be in the "S" position but can find no mention of whether it needs a charged cylinder. I haven't seen the guts of one of these pistols so not sure if there will be unbuffered metal on metal contact.

Any info or advice appreciated.

It doesn't need to have air to dry fire.
Leave the cylinder on as it affects the center of gravity of the gun.

Thanks rcma I thought it would be fine but just wanted to double-check. This is a major purchase for me and one highly anticipated.
