Lubricate the oring of the 1720 Pelican Case

Hi,
Can i use the product of the picture below to lubricate the oring of the 1720 Pelican Case ?
Whit other produtcs can i use ?
The case is stored in a place with a lot umidity.
How often should i do it in this case ?

According to the
Pelican support page you should only use silicon grease based lubricants.

Super Lube is petroleum based so it will eat rubber. Use silicone grease or silicone spray.
But keep in mind you should replace the O ring every year or so if you want to make sure water doesn't get in there.

What about the VFG Lupus Oil with PTFE / Teflon ?

i believe feinwerkbau white grease is silicon based. or you could go to your nearest shop for diving equipment and get high quality silicon grease they use on o-rings.

A very expensive alternative is Krytox GPL 105.
It works great on airgun seals, convertible car top seals, and cub scout pine box derby axles.

But the best economical answers have been already suggested, any silicone based lubricant will work. Dive shop sourced silicone lubricants will guarantee no petroleum content. (Because high pressure air plus petroleum = boom)
