I just did my daughters rifle 2 weeks ago with help from a friend. The adjustment screw is visible in the hole (on the left side of the rifle's action) when the bolt is pulled all the way back. Start with a 1/4 counter clockwise turn left and measure. If it shortens the distance between the barrel and the action then you are turning it in the right direction... continue tuning in 1/4 or 1/8 turns until you get the distance between 12-17mm (if I recall correctly).

It is also important that you fire a pellet every time. Dry fire or expelling air won't make absorber work

Thank you for the asnwers,
The misconfiguration of the absorber can be the cause of air escape from the back of the action ?
Thank you.
