It appears to be a 54, what do you think?

Though I havent seen one up close, from pictures it looks like a 64. The 1903 is a 64 and has the same action and bolt design as the Exemplar other than the Exemplar being magazine fed.

Never seen an Exemplar in the flesh so to speak, but have seen pictures and they are definitely built for a right handed shooter on a L/H 64 Sporter action.

The rimfire version of the Exemplars was built on a 64 action. The 22 Hornet Exemplar was built on a 54 action.
Thanks for all the replies!

I asked because they are a left bolt, left eject configuration, and true left handed actions are rather hard to find.
Not that I need yet another project gun, just thinking...... although a hornet might be fun
