That said... Do you know of any one that can make a custom reticle (a circle) of a particular diameter for a "Dot type" scope?

Thanks... Tillman

Can anyone tell me if the Burris Fastfire Picattiny Rail Mount will work on a 1" slide rail on the Baer Wadcutter?

Thanks.

Are all of them click adjustable for windage and elevation? How far does each click move the bullet impact at 50 yards?

On the website it will say something like 1 MOA per click adjustment.

1 MOA (Miniute of Angle or Arc) is 1/60th of a degree and 1 click will =
1" @ 100 yards (actually 1.047")
1/2" @ 50 yards
1/4" @ 25 yards

I have found that most micro dot adjustments are not as accurate as a good rifle scope and the adjustments vary a little from what is stated. A sight marked as having 1 MOA adjustments might give you just over or under 1/2" at 50 yards - still plenty close for bullseye.

Thanks guys. I have my FF III mounted on a 22 and want to switch over to the Baer.

I have a FF II mounted on a SA 1911 in 9mm for which I will probably get a conversion kit for 22.

I am not familiar with the scope red dots, are any magnified for the 50 yards? I have only shot at 25 yds - my club has a 25 yd indoor range and our pistol range is 25 yds. I would have to go to our rifle range to shoot 50 yards.

You do NOT want any magnification on a pistol for 50 yards the movement will drive you nuts.

I've seen a couple of guys shoot bullseye with a 2x scope on their revolver, but they had very hard holds and they still said the movement was very distracting and took quite a while to get use to. They also said their scores weren't any better - it was just fun to do.

The movement at 25 yds with the red dot on my 22 is hard to take, I see what you mean.
