Our club has plexiglass dividers between shooting lanes. The problem with these is that hot brass .22 casings are bouncing off the plexiglass and into unexpected places, if you know what I mean. And they're hot!
Anybody have any ideas on what material is best for dividers to decrease or eliminate bouncing brass?

A loose hanging drape will "soft catch" the brass, then allow it to fall straight down. It mustn't be too stiff and heavy however, or the brass still carom off as it does on the hard surface.
If you are familiar with baseball ... think of how a Jugs Net stops a batted ball with very little movement and then allows it to drop straight down to the ground. (Granted there is more slack with this net, and much more movement but this is stopping a 5oz. projectile travelling over 100MPH. The principal is the same).

We use a roller shade mounted to the ceiling at our club. Something like this:

We also have low ceilings, so that may or may not work depending on where / how you mount them.
