Walther lists two different slide springs for the Hammerli SP20 RRS .22 on the web site (2744096 & 2744204), and a different spring again in the manual (274096).
The .32 spring is different again (2744202) but not supplied in the conversion kit ?
Does anyone know what the different spring weights are for the four springs ?

You might try Larrys Guns. They are big hammerli people.

Greetings,
When I shot my SP-20 with 32 S&W Long, I found that the heavier springs provided better functioning with my pistol.
I was shooting ammo with 98 grain bullets at 725 FPS.
They are hard to distinguish by eye, so I recommend painting them with a dye to help keep them from getting mixed up.
Originally, the springs for the 22LR and 32S&W Long were interchangeable. Some lots of Fiocchi commercial registered 600 FPS over the chronograph and functioned well with the original springs. Snappier ammo, like Lapua 98 grain commercial, performed better with the heavier spring.
Last, order the plastic "marshmallow" recoil buffer assembly and toss out the metal version that is prone to breaking.
