I have an FP60 which I enjoy. It is brand new so is taking a little while to break-in, e.g. the ejector very often doesn't.

One thing the handbook is silent on is how to de-cock the pistol. Does anyone know how to do this other than by firing a shot into the dirt or using a spent case? The TOZ35 for example I believe suggests slightly depressing the loading block so that the firing pin does not hit the chamber rim. This will not work for the FP60 as the firing pin is in the bottom of the block.

Any thoughts?

- You may be lifting the lever too softly/slowly. The FP60 [and earlier 160] requires a moderately brisk wrist action.

- Try a different ammo. In my FP60, for example, Wolf and SK eject reliably where some other brands do not. The pistol has a tight chamber and it doesn't appear to loosen up with mileage [mine hasn't in 16K rounds].

- Also, bullet-lube residue in the chamber will interfere with ejecting the empty.

Holding the trigger 'set' lever down, then holding the trigger back while you release the set lever will uncock the trigger, but the firing-pin/striker will remain cocked. To decock the striker you will have to fire a live round or tap a spent cartridge.

The collegiate team I help coach uses .22 rim fire dummy rounds. They used to be a dark brown color, and easily distinguished from live ammo. The newer ones are only slightly tinted, so you have to look a little more carefully.
