Owners of Pardini PGP 75 -lands question

I just bought a PGP 75 and was surprized when I looked down the barrel to see the most shallow of lands that I have ever seen on any .22 barrel in my life. I am pretty sure that it is not possible to shoot one out, but they are so shallow that at first glance they appear gone. I also don't think it is leaded up unless it is the shiniest, most uniform leading in the world. Is this common for this gun?

Mine is pretty well buried at the moment, or I'd check for you. However, if the rifling is uniform from the chamber to the crown, it's probably OK. Rifling tends to wear out from the chamber forward, at least in centerfire rifles. I've never seen a rimfire barrel that was shot out. Damage from improper cleaning or corrosion, yes, but not shot out.

I did get a chance to try it. It shoots 10 ring off the bench with Eley Target, so I guess I won't worry about it, but I would swear the lands are not more that .002 deep by looking at them.
