Unique DES maybe. Most ot the pics I have seen is with the slide back. Also a weight around the front of the barrel.

Definitely not a unique des69 or96. Rear sight looks like a Walther GSP but the remainder looks rather like a IZH 35 in a lot of ways. Perhaps an experimental Russian or East German project?

Sorry, but I cannot see any similarity.

It's Chinese, don't know the model number. I remember seeing a Chinese shooter using one. The little lever cocks the hammer for dry firing.

I don't know if it is definitely of current Chinese manufacture, but it has been seen in the hands of their shooters. It is most definitely not a Unique DES either 69 nor 96U. "Doc"

I first saw one (or one very similar) in the hands of a Chinese shooter way back in 1988.

Yes it is a Chinese made pistol. No it is no longer in production. The company is no longer around. There is one repairman who goes around China servicing remaining units. All the parts have to be custom fit as quality control was poor. Chen Ying switched away from the pistol after the 08 Olympics basically for the lack of parts.

I have shot it and found it to be very simple, as you would expect. Light weight. Similar to the Hammerli 208.

(attached photos of the one I had the opportunity to fire in China)

That Chinese made pistol has a unique look, simple as well.
If I am an antique collector I would love to get it as collection.
