Dear all,

I just received my new lp 10 e and was very excited to try it hands on today.

A question about the trigger.

I found that the trigger has 2 clicks.

The first was just a click without the shot being fired followed by the second for actual firing.

Is this the normal case or is there some setting to be done?

Isn't that because it's a 2 stage trigger?

@rmca - there is no page 3 in this link... Please tell me which page you looking numberered at the bottom.

@ super string- so do all users use it as a 2 stage trigger or is there an option to make it a single stage ... What is advisable?

No it shouldn't click twice, it sounds like a fault to me. I'd talk to whoever you purchased it from before 'tinkering' with it.

Check if the cocking lever isn't half way between the dry and the live fire.

I had a similar experience with a brand new LP10e - the gun would not fire (consistently) on the first trigger pull... The solenoid clicked, but the air was not released... second trigger pull resulted in successful click-bang. The problem on mine was too much tension on the sear spring (force of solenoid was not enough to release the sear). Solution was pretty easy - back out sear tension screw (not documented in the manual) about a turn and a half. The sear spring tension screw is hidden under the "grip bar" (part #27 on the exploded diagram). To remove the bar and get access to the adjustment screw you need to drive out the pin holding the grip bar. The adjustment screw is number 78 on the exploded diagram. The whole "fix" takes about 5 minutes. I would recommend asking someone with at least basic gunsmitting skills to do this for you.
