I purchased this trigger a few years ago, but am not sure what it is for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joel

5018 but something looks different about it. I know there are a couple of variants, but overall the same.

Should fit any 18.19, 20 series

Someone has removed the safety catch.

It's a rather odd colour also, but that could be any number of things, many of them quite innocuous.

It's a trigger for an old match 54, probably pre-1970s (1411-) which aren't fitted with a safety catch. Colour is also standard and nothing to be concerned with.

That is the new style trigger body introduced on the 16XX rifles when the safety was removed from the rear of the bolt and placed on the trigger. My 1978 1411(1611) had this style of trigger which is a 5071 or 5074, which debuted in the spring of 1978.

The manuals for these triggers can be found here:

It is a 5018 with the safety removed. Notice the 18 on the body in one of the pics.

It sure looks like that one. I had thought it might work in my 1813, but when I got it, it just looked very different. I guess I will sell it.

Thanks for all the help.

May be interested in the trigger. What is the weight pull range and price?

I have no idea of what the pull range might be. Perhaps it is adjustable with different springs. Since I know so little, I was thinking about $100 + shipping.
