New grips

Post by Rover »

I just bought a set of Rink grips for my Smith 41 from Russ Wilson (local guy who sells stuff here on TT).

He didn't like them even after tweaking them a bit. Apparently they felt a lot better to me, but they still needed some work before they were comfortable/appropriate. I already like them better than the Morini's I've had on for 25 years.

Many posters seem to feel that new grips are the way to go, but to those who feel they are going to be unbeatable with them; Good Luck!

Grips are all about fit. Aftermarket grips may not (probably will not) give you the fit you need.

Beware when dropping $250 or so on something that you have not tried beforehand.
