Air rifle: 60mm of height, measured from the center of the barrel to the center of the front sight. Not sure if a height limit exists for smallbore, I'm pretty sure their is no limit.

I don't think there is a limit for .22 as Rajmond Debevec uses a sight height much higher than 60mm from the center of the bore.

Rajmond is fabulous, but perhaps not the best example to copy!
Towers of sight raisers, knee not touching the ground, post foresight, right hand position is imaginative, and he still shoots world record scores just to prove the old adage, "never comment on any ones position until you've seen the score sheet!"
And he is also an active campaigner against the stupidities of the ISSF! A great guy!
Good shooting

only free rifle limits in the rules I could find are:
(1) weight less than 8kg
(2) bottom of any palm rest less than 200mm from bore center
(3) limits on hook length
Sights could be a foot off the center line if you wanted to, but I bet if shooters keep making their guns look even more "strange" the ISSF will put a stop to it (not good for the viewing audience).
