Hey yall!

I am moving to Vancouver WA in a few months and I need to find a precision coach in that area (even Portland OR would work). I haven't been able to find one online yet but if you know of anyone please let me know as soon as you can!
I am looking for someone who is familair with shooting/coaching someone who is a lefty and someone who knows the good matchs and makes sure I am signed up!

Thank you,
Kinley

Try looking up some of the USA Shooting Clubs that are listed on the USAS website that are close by and checking with them. I know of some coaches in Washington, but they are more around the Tacoma and Seattle area.

Hi Kinley,

I grew up shooting precision 3p and air in Washington state (granted, it was 15 years ago). Originally from Spokane however I shot most of my matches over on the west side of the state and down in Oregon.

You could start with the Washington State Rifle & Pistol Association site: http://www.wsrpa.net

Alan Carey runs the site and may be able to assist you: alcarey@w-link.net
Also, one of my former coaches, John Crossman could put you in touch with more up-to-date information for the Vancouver area: John Crossman 253-588-6516

This link will take you to a list of clubs & ranges in the Vancouver area: http://www.wsrpa.net/index.php?option=c ... &Itemid=68

I'm a little rusty on my Oregon points-of-contact but here's a link to the Oregon State Shooting Association page and places to shoot: http://www.ossa.org/Clubs/PlacesToShootPage.html

As Randy1952 said, check out USAShooting.com: http://www.usashooting.org/7-events/interactivecalendar pull down the SELECT STATE menu and you'll find matches/points of contact for Washington and Oregon.

Good luck! The shooters and coaches of the pacific northwest are an excellent group!
