Anyone else finding the forum painfully slow? Wondering if there is a server issue.

It certainly does seem to have slowed down; the slowest for me being between 06:00 and 08:00 GMT on weekdays.

Extremely slow, bordering on unusable, at 07:00 GMT on my computer in the UK.

I have no problem with it in the U.S. I suspect it is your local service that's the problem.
7:00 GMT would be 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the U.S., when there are very few on line.

No, I checked this morning and was still getting my normal 30Mbps download speed (from UK servers). Also having no problem at that time with other US based web sites and forums.
It's so regular that I suspect a scheduled maintenance task on the servers.

07:30AM GMT on March 20 - as s.s.s.l.l.l.o.o.o.w.w.w as a wet weekend: other sites working at normal speed.

Same here Spencer.
I just opened another tab to check my other regular sites while TT was loading pages.

Agree with that, I found it dreadfully slow when I looked in this morning at around 7.30.
Rob.

David,
Because British TV stations and other media often are confusing, as are American sources: When you write GMT, do you truly mean Greenwich Mean Time, or do you mean whatever time it happens to be in London, summer or winter?

I mean Greenwich Mean Time, which is what we are using at the moment.
On Sunday we will switch to British Summer Time, which is 1 hour ahead of GMT.
