Knobloch Side Blinders: How to attach to frames?

Hi all,
I just received a set of Knobloch side blinders, and can't quite figure out how to attach them to the frames. I have an old pair of frames from when I was a junior rifle shooter in the early 90s. I recently got into pistol shooting (both Bullseye and International), and have bought some ISSF legal accessories to convert them. The larger lens holder and the ISSF legal blinder were obvious, but the side blinders are not.
Each blinder comes with an attached clip at the front that appears to fit over the temple piece of the frame. No similar clip is attached to the rear of the blinder, although an identical mounting point is provided. Attaching them only at the front does not seem right. The blinders do not stay put, and sag at the rear. I cannot find any directions or pictures, on the knobloch website or otherwise.
How do I properly attach them? Is there an issue using the new blinders with my old frames?
