I have a copy of the Ways of the Rifle book from MEC.

Is it worth also purchasing the book "Air Rifle Shooting" by the same authors?
I know they will cover alot of the same but was wanting to know from people who own both, whether it is worth the additional purchase or not in their opinion.

Ways of the Rifle is a book that deals in great depth to the shooting positions and ergonomics of the human body in relation to the rifle being held and used. It is essential reading for any rifle shooter both novice and expert in ISSF 3-position small bore [.22] rifle shooting and air rifle shooting.

Air Rifle Shooting is to a point a follow on but only deals with ISSF air rifle including 3-P and senior bench rest but in far greater depth. Again, it is essential reading for those shooters who specialise in ISSF air rifle shooting. I read mine numerous times and I still discover new information.
Both books are highly recommended.

I agree with JSB you need both. Air Rifle shooting is more specialised but is written in a little bit of a muddled way, you can read it back and forward and miss things, but when you do find them hidden in an illogical place they are gems.
The Ways of the Rifle is better written and is more logical to find areas when you need a reference, and there are just as many if not more gems in the script. If you are doing more than just air The Ways is definately a Bible for shooters.
Good shooting
