There are lots of opinions, and of course different pistols like different pellets to some extent. But I've found the RWS Diabolo Basic to be more than adequate for home practice every day, and at just over half the price of Meisterkugeln or less than half the price of R10 pellets, they're a great value. Some even use them for matches. I don't see any change in my average going between R10 and Basic pellets. I do find the Hobby pellets (slightly more expensive than the Basics but not much) a bit more difficult to fit into the breech of my Baikal 46m, so I'm happy with Basics on that count as well. Ease of loading makes for a more enjoyable overall experience. But as I say, some guns will be different - perhaps yours will load Hobby pellets just fine.

I use Vogel Sport.
In fact I use it both for practice and match.

Use the ones that shoot the best in your gun and are within your practice budget.
