Has anybody seen or had a chance to shoot the new addition to FWB's pistol line? It seems to resemble the LP-2 in features -- no recoil absorber mentioned, a compensator at the muzzle, no indication of piercings in the barrel; stripped down to make a low advertised weight and lacking even a trigger guard. For now seems only sold with an ambi grip. I suppose that could change.

And bright red trim.

It looks like another entry into the beginner/youth club level pistol that have been coming out lately (much needed in my opinion) Pardini has a simular line up. The jr. club I run is looking for replacements for the Daisy 747's we are using. Weight and ease of use are things we are looking to address, not to mention reliability under jr. use.

I question the lack of a trigger guard, but the rest looks very well suited to our needs.

Price?

It does resemble the P-44 without all the additional upgrades.

The grips look like a plastic composite and i do question the lack of a trigger guard as well.

Simple gun, but seems promising.

The German text says the grips are beech, not a composite..

If the grips are beech, they must have tainted them black...?

To quote from the FWB site:
Durch den Rechts-/Links-Griff aus massivem Buchenholz ist das Modell P11 universell einsetzbar
Perhaps stained dark, but Buchenholz means beech wood.
