2011 INT'L JO Invites are out

Shooters should be receiving their 1st round invites by now.
The list has been posted since Saturday 2/12 on the USAS website at:

Due date for getting your acceptance in is Mar 7.
NOTE TO SHOOTERS and COACHES:
The rules that will be in effect are the new 2011 rules (also posted on the USAS website).
Of particular note is the new Finals format. I think it will behoove those that think they may make the Final to practice this.
- 8 minutes combined Prep/Sighter period
- Put your gun down move away from the line and face the spectators. You will then be introduced.
- Go back to the line and get 2 more minutes of Prep/Sighters
- Then the records begin .... with a lot more commentary between each shot ... who is leading, by how much and lots of other comments that would make "good TV"
It's something that really should be practiced, as you only have a few minutes after the introduction to get back into your position.
I've heard that hats will be checked to make sure they are not touching the sights and the normal jacket/gun clearance as well.
I'll be there for the ladies rifle .... hope to see a bunch of you there
