Air Pistol Florida - Orlando

So after browsing a little I'm starting to understand why it's so hard for me to find a club - looks like there's not much serious air pistol shooting in the US.
What do I do?
I used to compete in Germany until about 15 years ago.
Now I'm interested in getting back into it again, but I can't find a place.
I'm really glad that at least I found this forum.
I tried to contact a few clubs in my area and they virtually scoff at me when I ask for air pistol shooting.
I've never been into the sport for the love of guns - actually I never even owned my own.
I just like the meditative aspects of it, the precision, control over my body and my thoughts, being able to deal with the excitement of competitions and such.
Because of that I was never much interested in bigger calibers, and even the Sports Pistol I only trained with because I had to - in my time it was mandatory for women to do Air and Sports Pistol for the bigger competitions.
Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?
