Is that normal? Should I move my foot position so my foot isn't falling asleep?

That's pretty much the norm. If it's falling asleep to the point that it causes you discomfort, then you might want to fiddle around with how you position and sit on your ankle to promote blood flow. If you're using shooting boots with straps on the back of the ankle, loosen them up on the right boot for kneeling and see if that helps.
