Hello!

Is there a magazine for the MG2, MG3 or MG4 that houses 6 shots? The reason is that in Sweden we are doing Fältskytte and it requires 6 shots. I suppose you could start out with one bullet in the chamber though...

The technique I have seen is to use two magazines, one with one round to load the chamber and a full one with the following five rounds.

Your pistol will probably not fit the box with an extended magazine.

So You could try the Norwegian aproach:)

Release the slide to its forward position, point the gun upwards, insert one cartrigde into the hole for magazine.
It goes right into the cradle that elevates it for chambering when the slide is in its rearward posistion.
Insert the mag with five rounds.
You hav now a gun that is ready to shoot 6 rounds as soon as you have
cycled the action too chamber the first cartridge.

good luck.

Someone that actually can confirm the "Norwegian" style?

I can verify that it works for the MG2 and MG4.

The MG3 is an unknown. I have not heard of it before.
Probably some new Morinidesign for the allthumbscrowd under design.

My misstake - there is no MG3...

I right now own the MG1E and i straight out love it.

Correction - there is an MG3, it's a .22 short RF pistol built for the old rules.

And yeah, "Norwegian style" works, although not all range officers are amused when you point that tube into the sky...

Sorry if I hurt any feelings.
I came on a bit strong.

The "Norwegian" way of getting 6 rounds into a MG2/4 was actually described in the Swedish magazine named "Vapentidningen."

there is no need to elevate dramatically, round number 6 can be pushed in with the mag.

The tests were allright as test go.

My MG troubles the last 12 months:
My MG4 has passed 1500 rounds and I had to clean it.

Enjoy.

Actually, it already worked 20 years ago with the Morini CM 102E... ;-)

That must have been the only thing that worked with the 102E!

Nah, it also brought us the e-trigger and a fantastic rear sight ;-)

I would agree, if only it had knurled adjustment knobs so no screwdriver was required!
