3/8 .22 or 11mm rings?

Howdy, all.
I'm a long-time lurker, seldom poster, so if I err I apologize in advance!

I've bought a Benelli M95 and I have a new 30mm UDot to put on it. The built in rib seems to be 11mm, and I wonder if you can use 3/8" .22 rings as well? I'd like to have an aluminum set, med-high, if there are any recommendations...

Thanks, Stipo

Either on the BSquare website or in a free catalog they will send you, they explain the difference between the 2 types of rings. Bottom line, for Euro airguns and firearms you want to use the 11mm rings, as they will hold better. BSquare also makes a large selection of rings appropriate for what you want.

Whichever rings you choose, you do not want to use a vertically split type, because 1) they don't hold as well, and 2) rezeroing will be required when you remove them, as you must do for a thorough cleaning of the Benelli.

Thanks, I'll check out B-Square's site!

Yeah, I hate the vert rings as well. Besides the reason you give they're also just...clumsy?...to try to use. They must be the most inexpensive type ring, tho, cause several manufacturers supply them with new tubes..
