How light of a pellet can you go in a pistol like the K58

Anybody here have a K58 and what pellets their gun likes. Right now I am using JB exacts 7.9.
Running low -leftover from my air rifle ammo. Should I buy a sampler tin.

P.S.--Can't stop shooting the K58. I can do well from a bench but stand up looks like I have an earthquake in my wrist and arm.
I have a long way to go.
David.

You will find that RWS Diabolo Basic and RWS Hobby (both 7grains) are cheap from Neil Stepp or Champion Shooters Supply.
In two guns (FWB 65 and K58) I have used the Hobby pellets as my first choice for match shooting and my personal best, but later testing in other guns proved them and the Basic about equal.
They are waaayy more accurate than you can shoot!
You can also buy Vogel's from our host, if you prefer.
You can search under my name for the pellet tests I did.

Hi David, please add my name to Rover's suggestion. I shoot Basics
almost exclusively now in my FWB mod 100. I've used up my yellow tin
Vogels, Meisterkuglns, and JSB green tin. It shoots the Hobbys the same
as the Basics. My mod 100 is very tolerant of most 7.0-7.7 gr pellets in
4.49-4.51mm sizes. All the those pellets will hit inner tens.
I don't think you need a sampler tin; unless you intend to test using a vice.

Thanks
I have to order some because I can't stop going to the basement and shooting. I am almost out of ammo now.

I just traded my K58 for the FWB model 80 in mint shape.

As discussed here many times - don't overdo it. Include some PT exercise in your training regimen - lower body as well upper. At least some of that movement may be body sway as well as wrist/arm.

Thanks-I read about some excercises for the pistol and some involved weights.
Thanks again.
